Nationale-Nederlanden Bank

Erik Muetstege is a seasoned financial services executive. He was chief executive of Nationale-Nederlanden Bank and now chairs its supervisory board, and he serves as chair within the supervisory structures of VGA Verzekeringen and De Vereende. His career has been spent at board level in highly regulated environments. He advises Anove on what it takes for an organisation to be genuinely in control of its technology, and on the difference between a control that exists on paper and one that can be evidenced on request.

Mathias Bücherl

Group Chief Audit Officer (former Group CISO)

Heidelberg Materials

Mathias Bücherl is Group Chief Audit Officer at Heidelberg Materials, and was previously its Group Chief Information Security Officer, where he led the global cyber security and resilience strategy. He teaches in the cyber security domain at Hochschule Luzern and brings deep expertise across cyber security, risk and governance. He advises Anove on the practitioner's problem: discovering the AI that inventories miss, and producing evidence that survives an audit.

Dr. ir. Linda Terlouw

AI expert and author

Author of Deep Learning

Dr. ir. Linda Terlouw is an expert in AI, machine learning and responsible AI, with a doctorate from Delft University of Technology and a track record of applying AI in regulated and public-safety contexts, including work with the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee. She is affiliated with Antwerp Management School, is the author of the book Deep Learning, and is pursuing a Master's degree in Privacy Law. She advises Anove on AI compliance, and on where AI practice and AI regulation meet.

Dr. Anant Joshi

Associate Professor of Information Management

Maastricht University

Dr. Anant Joshi is Associate Professor of Information Management at Maastricht University, where his work covers the corporate governance of IT, digital transformation, and the related risk and compliance questions. He is involved with the Digital Business and IT expertise centre at Antwerp Management School and has published widely on IT governance, transparency and compliance requirements. He advises Anove on how compliance posture should be reported to a board.

Advisory, independent, and clear about its limits.

The advisory board reviews Anove's product direction, our reading of regulation and the evidence insAIght produces. It meets management regularly, and its members are free to disagree on the record.

It holds no statutory responsibility for Anove and exercises no supervisory authority over management. Members serve in a personal capacity, and their affiliations are stated for context, implying no endorsement by their institutions or employers.
